SBBK was one of 23 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Scania Cup 2014. They participated with 12 teams in all categories of the tournament. 8 teams played until 11-12 in Slutspel; Girls 01 won over Ullern Basket by 39-21, Girls 99 won over SISU Basketball by 52-46, Boys 98 won over Jämtland by 56-43, Girls 00 won over Alvik Basket by 41-31, Boys 97-95 won over BG Luleå by 69-58, Girls 97-95 won over Hjemly by 57-47, Boys 00 lost against Solna Vikings by 40-61 and Boys 99 lost against SISU Basketball by 40-53.

In addition to this, SBBK have participated in Scania Cup before. During Scania Cup 2013, SBBK had 12 teams playing in all categories of the tournament. Three teams played until 11-12 in Slutspel; Girls 98 won over Åbyhöj by 44-16, Boys 97 lost against Sisu by 34-69 and Girls 99 lost against Amager by 21-50.

SBBK originates from Södertälje, which is the same city as where Scania Cup takes place. The area around Södertälje does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Scania Cup 2014 (Among others: Djursholm Indians , Stockholms Polisen , Skuru IK, Solna Vikings, JKS, Tureberg, KFUM Blackeberg, Alvik Basket, Fryshuset and Täby).
